Busy People: Astronaut is a brilliant, simply put story about astronauts! The illustrator, andotwin, has done an outstanding job of creating bright, colorful, clear images and arranging them on the page so they are easily followed and amazingly eye-catching!
Clear, precise captions and other text by talented lucy (george) cuthew, accompany each image . In story form, she tells of the adventure and briefly what a space ship consists of and what key people are required to do to assist the astronaut. At the end of the story, she reiterates what each person does to help the child retain the information. She then summarizes other key people involved in an astronaut’s mission. The last page has a few short trivia questions.
This is a quality made picture book. Easy enough to keep a small toddler’s interest, yet advanced enough for a slightly older child to appreciate.
